Helen van Roekel
Helen is a social worker at the BPD Collaborative in South Australia. She has a strong interest in working with young people with BPD and their families, particularly relating to building understanding within families and preventing family breakdown. She has worked with people with BPD in a range of community settings, within services addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, victim support and child protection. She regularly contributes to the running of Family Connections programs in Adelaide, and uses an MBT framework for individual therapy provided at BPD Co.
