Zonia Weideman
Zonia is an Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree in research, is a certified Informatics Analyst, and is a member of a Linehan Institute consult group. Her most recent research was focused on implementing therapeutic group programs in the public mental health sector. She has recently established a team that enhances psychological interventions for consumers with Personality Disorders. This team is called the Living Well Team and was a finalist at Queensland’s Awards of Excellence. Zonia is passionate about clinical improvement with a focus on delivering up-to-date evidence-based care to mental health consumers. With this focus she has been implementing virtual care in the Ipswich region through a consumer portal with the focus of bringing care closer to home, empowering consumers to lead their own recovery journey and providing a solution to clinicians to enable effective and efficient care.
