Kirsty M McAllister
Kirsty is a final year PhD student at The University of Glasgow, supervised by Dr Ruchika Gajwani. Before graduating with a MSc in Forensic Psychology, with merit, in 2016, Kirsty worked extensively with young people in residential childcare in Scotland.
Kirsty’s research interests have included differences in gender attitudes towards stalking behaviours in Scotland and the future of psychology in the child criminal justice system. For her Doctoral studies, Kirsty will investigate the nature and phenomenology of early Borderline Personality in young people in the general population. She will also work alongside the BRIDGE Project exploring the experiences of young people who have been part of the BRIDGE intervention versus those who have been part of ‘Service as usual’. Further, Kirsty plans to investigate health economics in relation to the BRIDGE Project.
